Keeping It Real Loving Caring Sharing in the Neighborhood Institute, Inc. is dedicated to providing social pride programs and support to those in poverty in Louisville/Jefferson Metro County. Through the interplay of a number of factors, the Kentucky Advisory Committee has determined that regardless of other factors such as teacher quality, family structure, class size, or racial isolation, poverty matters and acts to impede academic achievement. This would include social stimulation and involvement of the youth and family development. Keeping it Real recognize this social gap and will collaborate to create innovative approaches to improve the social pride experiences of low/moderate income youth and families in Louisville. Keeping it Real is recognized as a nonprofit public charity under section 501 c 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Keeping It Real will provide information and referral to:

  • Youth Programs
  • Arts/Cultural
  • Music/Dance
  • Enrichment activities
  • Summer Social Educational Encounter (SSEE)

Keeping It Real has committed itself to serve as a catalyst in the area of social pride and will proactively seek funding to provide innovative programs to support community social pride through cultural enrichment opportunities for low moderate income families and individuals.
